Overview

Vadient is a standalone cycling computer for Apple Watch. We believe your ride data is your data. This policy explains what information Vadient accesses, how it is used, and your rights.

Data We Collect

Short answer: None. Vadient does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. All data stays on your Apple Watch and, if you choose, in Apple Health on your paired iPhone.

Data Accessed on Your Device

To function as a cycling computer, Vadient requests access to the following device sensors and frameworks:

• Location Services (GPS) — Used to calculate speed, distance, and route. Location data is processed on-device and is never transmitted to any server.
• Barometric Altimeter — Used to measure elevation and calculate road gradient. Barometric data is processed on-device only.
• Apple HealthKit — With your permission, Vadient saves completed rides as cycling workouts (including route, elevation gain, and heart rate) to Apple Health. Vadient reads heart rate data during rides. This data is governed by Apple's HealthKit privacy policies and stays within the Apple Health ecosystem.

Data Sharing

Vadient does not share any data with third parties. We do not use analytics SDKs, advertising frameworks, or tracking pixels. There are no accounts, no sign-ups, and no cloud sync.

Data Storage

All ride data is stored locally on your Apple Watch during a ride and written to Apple HealthKit upon completion. Vadient does not maintain its own persistent database of your rides. Deleting the app removes all Vadient data from your watch. HealthKit data is managed through the Apple Health app.

Third-Party Services

Vadient does not integrate with any third-party services, APIs, or analytics platforms. The app operates entirely offline and on-device.

Children's Privacy

Vadient does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The app does not collect information from anyone.

Changes to This Policy

If we update this privacy policy, we will post the revised version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
